Jason
Stagman has been working in the South Florida
real estate market since1993. Jason graduated from
the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana
in 1992 with a Bachelors Degree. Following graduation, he moved
to Miami-Dade County and obtained his real estate
license. Soon thereafter, he joined the real estate
firm Coldwell Banker where he quickly rose through
the ranks and became one of the top producing
agents in the region.
In
1996 Jason joined Grubb & Ellis. Initially,
he worked with investment properties and learned
this aspect of the market well. He then moved
to Boca Raton and began his
office tenant practice. He was enticed to
work in this area, because it allowed him the
opportunity to find the right space and to negotiate
the best business terms in the interest of the
tenant while being compensated by the landlord.
Through his experience, Jason has acquired immense
knowledge about local landlords, the buildings,
and the professional office atmosphere in the
Broward and Palm Beach markets. He has a vast
understanding of commercial lease language and
terms and over the years has developed a comprehensive
understanding of counter-responses to heavy-handed
lease language. Nearly all real estate leases
are phrased to overwhelmingly favor the landlord.
Jason uses his knowledge and experience to balance
leases and provide cushions and exit strategies
for businesses should their direction change.
Jason enjoys sharing his knowledge, expertise
and guidance with his clients and in obtaining
the best building for their needs, negotiated
at the best terms. It is this guidance and guardianship
that makes going to work each day so satisfying
for Jason. He is a man that really loves his work.
Jason earned the prestigious Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Only one
percent (1%) of commercial real estate practitioners
worldwide has achieved this exclusive certification.
The education in the CCIM program has developed
Jason's understanding and abilities when dealing
with sophisticated commercial and investment real
estate transactions. Additionally, the CCIM organization,
composed of several thousand agents throughout
the world, allows for Jason to make referrals
confidently to other professionals who have also
earned this special designation in different geographic
regions.
In 2001 Jason accepted a position with
Savitar Properties to handle the leasing of 750,000
SF of commercial space where he represented the
interests of several landlords; however, he soon
realized that he preferred to represent tenants
and negotiate from their perspective. This experience
of representing landlords has given Jason an ability
to appreciate the landlord's perspective and use
this understanding to negotiate even more effectively
in the tenant's behalf. Jason stayed at Savitar
another six months as a tenant representative
and in 2002 formed Stagman Commercial
Real Estate Advisors to concentrate on tenant
and buyer consulting and representation. Stagman
Commercial exists to provide the most comprehensive
professional advocacy to result in the best possible
terms and conditions for businesses and professional
practices. At Stagman Commercial, the client's
satisfaction and long term needs and objectives
are always the focus. We Help Businesses Make
Smart Moves.
